🚔🚔 Neighbourhood Policing Team 2 - Inspector Pickavance 🚔🚔 North

Team 2 PCSOs Angela and Lisa, in company with Special Constables, attended Lightbowne Road Post Office on Saturday 8 August following complaints from members of the public regarding vehicles parking on the white zig-zag lines outside the premises.

During officers' attendance, no offences were observed. However, we would like to remind motorists that parking, stopping, waiting, dropping off or picking up passengers on white zig-zag lines is illegal at all times. This also applies to Blue Badge holders, as there are no exemptions.

Vehicles found contravening these restrictions may be issued with a £100 Fixed Penalty Notice and 3 penalty points on the driver's licence.

Please park responsibly and help keep our roads safe for all users, particularly pedestrians crossing in the area.
